Empowering Young People
Margaret's Mind is a new musical designed specifically to meet the
unique requirements of schools and youth theatres, with empowerment
and development of young performers at its core. It prioritises meaningful
performance opportunities for large casts, and is completely adaptable
to fit each company's specific needs.

The Music

Someone You're Not - Our Opening number depicts the students of Trotwood High ferociously insisting that in order to make it through the trials and tribulations of high school, it's essential that you be anyone except yourself.
Totally Chill - Tired of her inescapable social anxiety and low self-esteem, Margaret imagines a bright, exaggerated world in which her anxieties are gone.
Margaret's Mind - An 18-year old Margaret apologises to her younger self for failing to become someone they could be truly proud of.
The Perfect Margaret - Megan attempts to show Margaret that the only truly 'perfect' Margaret is the one who already exists, anxieties and all.
